Marco Nalesso em seu segundo álbum solo “Imagética” segue a linha de seus trabalhos mais conhecidos, onde desde “HAB”, “Marco Nalesso e a Fundação”, “Mataviva” e “Nalesca Mantega” em parceria com o baterista Steve Shelley do Sonic Youth, o seu mote principal é a construção de paisagens sonoras.

Suas novas composições nos sugerem atmosferas habitáveis. São sons experimentais que nos transportam para outra realidade, mas dentro desta mesma, pois não tratam de um universo paralelo. Suas faixas apresentam uma biodiversidade sonora, um paraíso artificial com mar, praia, animais, ar, tudo isso numa saturação que nos suspende. As referências desses recursos naturais aos quais carregamos na mochila, tão íntimos por estarem no organismo de nossas memórias afetivas - e por que não, genéticas -, são revisitados.

O disco consegue elevar nosso cotidiano à outro nível. O isolamento social ganha respiro quando colocamos este som bem alto. Suavizando a realidade, massageando nosso espírito, todas as células de nossos corpos são convidadas a dançar. Faixa a faixa o álbum progride ampliando nossa sensação de liberdade. Já que em nosso tempo o problema não é fundá-la, mas sim alargá-la, fazendo de nós vivos no meio do vivo, Marco Nalesso vem na pegada de nos proporcionar um oásis, causando situações que aumentam a experiência sensível.

Povos ciganos são evocados no dedilhar da viola. O piano suave, a guitarra leve e a bateria tropical são misturadas aos sons de pássaros, mesclados ao mamão papaia da música digital contemporânea, onde a textura visceral se dá numa melodia solar. Aqui visitamos a orla da praia que nos habita. Sabe a resistência daquela samambaia que cresce entre a fresta da parede, que hora nos é bela e hora nos afronta, cutucando a ordem da nossa casa, então, é essa imagética que Nalesso nos apresenta como a um convite refrescante, na suculência de um prazer comunicável.

In his second solo album "Imagética", Marco Nalesso follows the line of his best known works, where since "HAB", "Marco Nalesso e a Fundação", "Edgar e Mataviva" and "Nalesca Mantega" in partnership with Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, his main motto is the construction of soundscapes. The album suggests a musical biodiversity where our nature is revisited and, track by track this sense of freedom extends itself.

​ Its tracks present a sound biodiversity, an artificial paradise with sea, beach, animals, air, all in a saturation that suspends us. The references of these natural resources to which we carry in our backpacks, so intimate because they are in the body of our affectionate memories - and why not genetics - are revisited.

The album can take our daily lives to the next level. Social isolation gains a breath of fresh air when we turn on this music very loud. Softening reality, massaging our spirit, all the cells of our bodies are invited to dance. Track by track the album progresses enlarging our sense of freedom. Since in our time the problem is not to consolidate it, but to extend it, making us alive in the midst of the living, Marco Nalesso comes in the grip of providing us with an oasis, creating situations that increase the sensitive experience.

Gypsy people are evoked in viola strumming. The soft piano, light guitar and tropical drums are mixed with the sounds of birds, mixed with the papaya of contemporary digital music, where the visceral texture takes place in a solar melody. Here we visit the shores of the beach that inhabits us. You know the resistance of that fern that grows between the crack of the wall, that sometimes can be beautiful and sometimes confronting, poking the order of our house, then, it is this imagery that Nalesso presents to us as a refreshing invitation, in the juiciness of a communicable pleasure.
